About Evelyn Baerg

Evelyn Roth (formerly Baerg)

Ev is a Canadian who was born in Alberta. She began her adult life as an elementary school teacher and a year later married John Baerg. In 1988, concerned about the failing marriages they were encountering among friends and acquaintances, they began hosting FamilyLife marriage conferences. Ev continued to develop this ministry and eventually became the national coordinator for Canada. Her husband John passed away in November of 2002. She married Jim Roth in 2008. In her retirement she enjoys her new life and marriage, and teaches children’s sewing classes as well as a women’s Bible study.
