Kate Tompkins lives in Montreal with her husband of 30-plus years and a very spoiled cat. When not doing editing or transcribing work or household chores she likes to experiment with recipes out of old cookbooks for her blog at www.katesvirtualkitchen.com. She belongs to a writing group at Westview Bible Church and is currently working on a short story collection about a city girl and pastor’s wife adjusting to life in a small town. She also writes poetry, some of it a serious look at faith and some of it silly poems about cats or gardening.
