Freeze!

He was crouched low as he slowly followed a bit of a trail through the thick underbrush when his Sargent harshly whispered, ‘FREEZE!” He froze immediately and he listened intently for any noise as his eyes darted around trying to spot any danger that the Sarg. might have seen. And then he spotted it. Strung across the path, ankle high, right in front of his foot was a clear nylon trip line… He hadn’t seen it… One step more and… He didn’t want to think about it…

Life is full of trip lines. But praise the Lord for he has given us his Holy Spirit to warn us when to “FREEZE!”

The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the LORD has made both of them. Proverbs 20:12

My prayer for us this week

“Heavenly Father, we are still because we know that You are God. You are exalted among the nations; You will be exalted in the earth. You are with us and are our stronghold. Thank you and praise you, in Jesus name, amen.” Psalm 46:10,11
