Each Step We Take

Every step we take, every path we follow, even when we stumble and fall, God is holding onto us.

I hope you will always remember that as you continue your journey, and as you choose to walk by faith with the Lord.

Today, I want to leave these scriptures with you. They happen to be among my favorites and I run to them often for encouragement when I don’t know which step to take next or don’t know where the path leads.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. Psalm 37:23-24

Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:4-5

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
