All is Everything

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” .  Colossians 1:16-17 (NKJV)

Jesus is all! He is our all in all. Where would we be if He was “some” or “mostly” instead of “all”? How thankful we can be that He is not half-a-savior and we don’t need to try and find the other half. How thankful we can be that we are not half-saved, half- forgiven, or half-blessed. Even if Jesus were a 99% savior, He would have fallen short and we would still be lost and without hope! He did not fail us on even the smallest point or in the littlest detail.

In Jesus we have all spiritual blessings and all grace abounding toward us. He gives us all His life, all His love, all His heart, all the time.

In Him all the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is before all things and in Him all things are held together.

His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. His power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Jesus is good to us in all His ways, faithful to us in all His promises, merciful to us in all His prayers.

Is He worthy?

By all means! He is worthy of all allegiance, all devotion, all worship, all praise, all obedience, all trust—with all our love, all our hearts, all our souls, and all our strength.

All in all forever, Jesus will I sing; Everything in Jesus, And Jesus everything.—A.B. Simpson
