There is this love I have for mornings,
Day beginning new
And I take hold of all it offers me.
In quiet moments and rising sun
Whispers of my heart say,
Thank You, Lord
For this new day that You have made.
Thank You
For loving me,
Saving me,
Making me Your child.
Thank You
For making a plan for my life
Before I was ever formed,
Leading and guiding all that I do,
Picking me up when I fall,
Teaching me to trust You each step of the way.
This is what I rise to every morning
When I wake up to You.
