When You’re Overwhelmed

by flowerHolley Gerth

I’ve looked at a calendar filled to the brim or an overflowing to-do list and whispered, “Enough already.”

And I’m learning that Jesus looks at the same and says to my heart, “Already enough.”

In other words…

You don’t have to do all that to prove your worth.

You don’t have to try so hard.

You don’t have to wear yourself out worrying what everyone will think.

If we’re going to be overwhelmed today, let’s be overwhelmed by how much grace and love we’re truly given.

“that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”  Ephesians 3:16-19

One Response to When You’re Overwhelmed

  1. Stephen Bernard says:

It’s not our worth that made God the Father to save us from eternal death. Yes, It’s His abundant love towards us that He gave His Son Jesus for us as an atonement sacrifice. Praise The Lord. This truth that we are forgiven by His grace should guide us in our lives to forgive others, so that we will be blames in the sight of our Father in heaven.

    Thank you.
