“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:23 (NLT)
What Chris Caine knew about God came from a very strict, religious background.
And in her late teens, she gave her heart to Jesus through prayer.
But it bothered her that some people think they’re Christians simply because they act the right way.
She thought, “Changing your behavior doesn’t mean your heart has been transformed.â€
Chris is right.
It is impossible, without Jesus to have true, lasting change that brings healing and restoration.
Chris said, “My behavior changed from the inside out…
rather than me always struggling to change from the outside in.â€
Dear friend, the Fruit of the Spirit results in:
– love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
It can only come from a response to your love relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

I struggle to be a Christian. I some times remember St Paul’s lamentation- that I do no think what I want to and I don’t do I want to do.
It may be true, but I know that it is not right. It only exposes our weakness and shows that we are not strengthened by our rebirth in the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit gives strength to combat the Evil in us.
Thank you for this inspiring devotional. Blessings. Season’s Greetings.
We must praise God for the gift of the holy spirit who bears with us that we are truly His own.
Have meet some people who tell me they are a Christian, when i see them in church and then have seen them outside at the church and oh how different they are. So it is funny when I read what has been said, told why do you not just be a Christian. You see I do not mind telling people that I am one,a s I am so priud to be a Christian.
