It's the in-born nature of human beings to find fault with the other than self.
Finding fault with the other took place for the first time in human history was at the garden of Eden-between Adam and Eve, the first Parents of ours, before God.

For Christians, Jesus's interpretation of judging others should be the guidance, so that they may not be judged.
Thanks and blessings.

I plead guilty and shudder to think of those I have hurt through my pride and self-righteousness! But, praise the Lord, He forgives and patiently leads me to turn my focus to Him and His righteousness, away from my own filthy rags.

I especially like your statement, "Our sin nature is our connection with our neighbor, our salvation is our hope, and the good news of the gospel is our message."

there is alot of hypocrisy in the church...its like people do not
really value christianity..they do things just to be seen that they
are christians.. the question of correcting hypocrisy is alittle
complicated but with God all things are possible.. the best thing is
to do is..the mature christians should help those who are babies (new)
in the christian walk.. they should be a good example to them then
they can emulate them. though the best person to emulate is
Jesus....His the only...

I see a lot of hypocrisy in my local church. Jesus came to redeem us from our sins. As siib as we accept Him as our Lord and Personal Saviour, He forgives us our sins. Leaders in the church are quick to remind single parents of their sins that have been wiped away by Jesus. What do we say when single parents are not recognised for the contributions they made in the church. When it comes to ordination of people for the positions of deaconnes or leadership position, they are branded not...
